Arun Neelankavil
Arun holds a Master’s degree in Tourism Administration and has spent over fifteen years studying, documenting, and sharing the layered cultural heritage of India — from the temple architecture of the South to the living traditions of the Himalayas. He approaches India not as a checklist of monuments, but as a continuous civilization whose past speaks directly to its present.
A polyglot fluent in ten languages — English, French, Spanish, German, Japanese, Hindi, Malayalam, Tamil, Kannada, and Telugu — Arun moves fluidly between India’s regional worlds and the languages of the travelers who come to discover them. This is rare in Indian travel: a guide who can discuss Vedantic philosophy with the same ease in French as in Malayalam, and who can translate not just words, but meaning, between cultures.
His in-depth knowledge spans India’s rich cultural heritage in its broadest context — history, architecture, religion, language, craft, and everyday life — woven into journeys that prioritize genuine connection over sightseeing.
